I am Mary and I live in a little town in Northeastern Ohio, USA. Currently, however, I am on vacation in one of my favorite places in the world, Vermont USA, with the family.

Next up on the blog post should be the tutorial that I have been working on for the last, oh, I don't know, TWO MONTHS, to share with you. The one that included really great directions for what I am doing here,
and here,
and here,
All of which will show you how to make slipcovers for the headboard on your bed like these:
that I made for my guest room, which I now call my Reunion Room since the entire room has been decorated, by little me, in Sweetwater's Reunion fabric, which I adore.
Yup. This would be the perfect time to post that tutorial that has been plaguing my mind for the last several weeks. Except for the one little oversight that I made, which is forgetting all of the notes that I kept while I was working on this tutorial. Those are sitting on the desk at home; the very same desk that has the drawer that contains my camera cord.
*sigh* |
I'm pretty sure in all of the great bloggedy advice we have been getting over the course of this hop, there has been something that advised against begging people to come back again when you actually have something good to show them. BUT....
if you did happen to return, there WILL be a tutorial on how to make slipcovers for your headboard AND there will be awesome action shots of mountain biking, hiking, etc.
So, welcome, thanks for stopping by and
Enjoy your time in Vermont. I shall return!
ReplyDeleteI love Vermont as well. I have only been there one. Nice getting to know you on the blog hop. BTW, you have the same background as I do on my blog. You must have excellent taste!

ReplyDeleteHi Mary . . . post is just too funny. I'll be back when the tutorial makes it's magic appearance.
ReplyDeleteSo fun to meet you and your family, Mary! Looking forward to that tutorial!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear! Isn't it so frustrating when you have everything planned perfectly and forget one little thing that turns out to be crucial?! The slip cover for the headboard looks like a great idea though!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos!
You've made me laugh so much, great to meet you and look forward to the tutorial whenever you're ready to post! :)
ReplyDeleteBwahahaha! Well, I hope you are enjoying your time in Vermont. We love it there. My tutorial was done from afar as well. I live in Virginia, and my day came up when I was at my mother's in Illinois. Fortunately, I did not have to remember my camera cord as the SD disc can go directly into the computer!
ReplyDeleteHey there, great to meet you, I hope you are having a good holiday. No worries about the tutorial, there is just so much planning that goes into putting one together isn't there?! I have got mine ready for my day in August, and it honestly took me hours and hours! Can't wait to see your tutorial soon :-)
ReplyDeleteDoh! Glad it's not just me that does things like that! Your tutorial was well worth waiting for by the way:-)
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed getting to know you... and look forward to more!! Thanks!
