How to Have a Successful Sewing Summit (Days 1 & 2)

Bring appropriate reading material on the plane.
If you have to wake up at 4:00 am to make your flight. Set up an I. V. of coffee.
When you see your luxurious accommodations run around like Eloise at the Plaza and try on the bathrobe.
Eat an omlette, or something, the size of your head before the shop hop. You'll need it!
See out smiling, happy people. There's tons of them. (Hi, Karen!)
If you see a robot on an elliptical machine, take a picture of it. Duh.
Get to this shop. No matter how you have to do it. Also get to Pine Needle Qults and Yellow Bird fabrics.
Don't worry about getting a tattoo before you come. They have them there.
Style a photo shoot in your room with all the amazing stuff in your Swag Bag.
Ditto for your shop hop loot.

Try to wipe the smile off your face. I dare you!
OK, apparently, I have the maturity level of a nine year old boy. But this made me snerk. I can't wait to gift my "Douche Bonnet"!

More later! Classes haven't even started yet, and I feel like I've had an amazing trip!
Cheers,
M

    1. Thanks so much Erin! I loved meeting you too!! Are you aware that you are a "no reply" blogger? Sadly, that means I cannot email my response to you personally. I hope you check back here and see this. If you need help changing your blogger/google settings, I can do that!

  7. Everytime I see shower caps in hotel rooms, I check to see if there's a French translation and then laugh a lot.

It was SO good to meet you!!! :)

  9. I loved your recap! But the best part was your Bonnet de Douche was my favorite part! I am so going to start calling d-bag people now d-bonnets! Not that I use that term a lot, but I'm tucking it away in my arsenal just in case.
